ELIGIBILITY: The design entry should be an original creation and indigenously produced in the year 2009-10. Copies and direct inspiration will be disqualified by the jury. Entries can be submitted by individuals and design houses. Stores are not eligible to register unless the design is their own creation.
SELECTION PROCESS: All entries are assessed on their originality, finish, trendiness and functionality.
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF ENTRIES IS 31 OCTOBER 2010.
SUBMISSION PROCESS: The registration form should be submitted along with the below mentioned specifics:-
- A product note describing the product in maximum 100 words.
- A concept note describing the genesis of the idea in not more than 150 words.
- Entries need to be sent as 8x11'' prints. Maximum of 12 prints are permitted.
STUDENTS: must provide feasible designs along with a letter from the HOD of the college certifying that they are bonafide students and have created the product in the current year.
CONDITIONS• The entry should be an original creation and indigenously produced in the year 2009-10 There is no entry fee • Shortlisted entries will need to produce fully functional prototype • Stores are not eligible to register unless the design is their own creation • There should be no display /coverage of entries applied for awards till the final declaration of results. This time frame starts from the date of application to the final date of announcement of awards • Any publicity during this period will lead to automatic disqualification if the same is highlighted in front of the jury • Entries can be displayed/produced/ given for press coverage post Awards 2010 announcement irrespective of whether the entries have won or otherwise • Publicity received/ display prior to the start of application process does not disqualify the entry • Maximum of 3 entries are permitted per individual in each category • Each entry should be accompanied by a separate entry form • Forms are available online • Photos submitted will not be returned and will become the property of Livingetc India to be used in the magazine whenever required • Prototypes submitted need to be collected back by the participants. The organisers will not be responsible for their shipment or damages incurred during the same. • No correspondence will be entertained after receiving entries • Livingetc India will not be responsible for postal delays and mutilated entries and shall not entertain any communication in this regard • Entry forms cannot be canceled or withdrawn • Livingetc India reserves the right to cancel/ modify/ extend/ discontinue the awards without giving ant reason or prior notice • Contestant's personal details shall be part of Livingetc India's data bank and may be used for the purpose of sending out commercial information unless expressed by the contestant in writing to not use the details for the proposed activity • If any of the above requirements are not complied with, the entry will be nullified. • Disputes are subject to New Delhi jurisdiction • The decision of the judges shall be final
